The real Abimelech.

For millennia, the Tribe of Abimelech, also known as Hasanat Abu Mu'ailiq, has existed as the foundation of ancient Palestine and the ancient Land of Canaan, modern-day Palestine and Israel. Our history predates modern civilizations, and we trace our ancestry directly to Abimelech, the legendary monarch of ancient Palestine. His sovereign seat, the capital Jaerrar, located at Khirbet Umm Jarrar near Gaza and Beersheba, has remained the main center of our tribe for over four thousand years. This sacred land has been our home since the dawn of recorded history, long before political borders or modern conflicts divided it. Our ancestors, renowned in ancient texts for their wisdom and diplomatic acumen, united all the Canaanite Palestinian and early Jewish tribes, including the seven tribes that resided in the surrounding areas such as Hebron, the Negev, the coast, and central Palestine. After the reign of Abimelech, the unified kingdom continued to thrive, with the tribe's descendants later incorporating additional tribes, such as the Jewish tribe of Manasseh, thereby contributing to the maintenance of peace and stability with vision and unity. The Kingdom of Jarrar, located in the fertile plains of southern Palestine, known today as Khirbet Um Jerar, formed the center of power in historical Palestine, a land renowned for its cultural diversity and wealth. From there, our ancestors expanded, forming the families that persist to this day. At the heart of our tribe are three fundamental brothers, Hassan, Muhaysan, and Madi. After a great catastrophe and famine, as told by our tribal elders, Hassan traveled eastward, settling in Wadi Musa, where his descendants, known as the Hasanat of Wadi Musa, reside today. Muhaysan decided to remain on his ancestral land. The Hasanat Abu Ma'ileq, the primary pillar of the tribe, trace their lineage to him. Carrying the legacy of Muhaysan, the Hasanat that never left their tribal land near Jarrar have always been one of the most respected and ancient families in Palestine. The closest forefather is Suleiman ibn Ma'ileq, and it is to him that the Hasanat Abu Ma'ileq trace their lineage. The third brother, Madi, nicknamed 'Harmas,' along with his children, traveled northward, settling along the coast of Haifa. His descendants established themselves in the area between Haifa and Zamarin, in a place that came to be known as the Coast of bin Madi, and they remain there to this day. Although others have lived and worked on the tribal lands, cultivating the fields and contributing to the prosperity of the communities, the Hasanat Abu Mu'ailiq, children of Muhaysan, remain at the heart of the tribe. Over time, other families joined the tribe through alliances and mutual partnerships, becoming integral to its identity.
